  • Billboard Chart Hits

A 2021 survey by Ipsos found that 40% of Americans still thought the best music was that produced in the 1980's. Eighties music can be found everywhere, including on retro radio stations TV commercials and at nostalgia musical nights... . as well as, hearing the same songs played at weddings, parties, clubs, and being sung at renditions in the karaoke bar. During the 80's the Hot 100 was based collectively, on each single's weekly physical sales and airplay on American radio stations. The airplay figures were compiled from radio station playlists.

  • Compact Disc (CD) Collection

Here's something to consider. The notion of a physical music collection may seem antiquated. The artists playing on the records may seem out of fashion. The storage space they occupy might arguably be put to another use. And sometimes the old CD player to put them on has been thrown out to be replaced by other media devices, or it just no longer works. So why collect music CD's? Well one argument for collecting this form of music storage media, would be, that many people are fans of the artist, and owning a CD brings a closer connection to the music....

The facade bunting was used to promote the location as Hitsville, USA.
