  • The Epic Records label was launched in 1953. Abba releases were licensed to Epic Records in the UK. After the success of Abba in Australia, Epic Records took notice of Abba for the first time since their Eurovision winner Waterloo, and began to heavily promote their music.
  • Epic Records company sleeves, from the first part of the 1970's, have a pattern of a broad vertical black strip, between two bands of yellow .
